Neat little blood glucose meter, ideal for those, like me, newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and wanting to monitor their blood glucose, easy and simple to use and read, everything you need to get started, and I’m quite happy with it. I can’t comment on accuracy as I have no way of checking, but the readings are what I would expect to see given my age, general health, condition, diet, etc.
The NHS doesn’t provide a means of or recommend self-testing for those whose diabetes is managed by medication (other than insulin) & diet, but if you have no way of monitoring yourself, how will you know how successful your efforts at self-management are, apart from the HBa1C blood test you get every 3 months or so? This little meter provides an easy and cost-effective solution.

Unable to change reading strings from mg/dl to mmol/l sent out new machine and still exactly the same . You have to convert everyone you use it to get the mmol/l reading . Would not recommend
