Very pleased with this product. It was easy to set up & synch to the alarm sound that you want. There were loads to choose from & the alarm sound I chose was super loud – it would be hard to ignore!
The range was excellent & covered the entire house & into the garden with no problem at all, which gives great ease of mind in case of needing to call for help.

I bought this alarm for my elderly next-door neighbour who is quite frail and lives alone. The alarm works very well through the brick wall and from different floors. It also worked very well from outside and across the road. The instructions state it will work up to a distance of 1,000 feet.
The alarm worked straight out of the box with the fobs already paired to a ‘ding-dong’ alarm. I chose a longer siren-type option as it only ding-donged once and I was worried I might not hear it. The unit is quite loud with five different volume settings including a silent option where the unit just flashes. There is a wide range of melodies to choose from and, if you want to, you can program the unit to play different melodies from each of the two fobs. The melodies sound for about ten seconds before cancelling automatically.
The instructions are clear enough but are for a plug-in mains powered version whereas this unit is battery operated. The unit takes three AAA batteries but the cheap alkaline batteries supplied didn’t work. I usually replace cheap batteries with branded ones anyway, especially on something important like an alarm. I then save the cheap ones for something less important like the TV remote.
There is no obvious hole in the recess on the fobs to pass the lanyard through. To get round this, I looped the string on the end of the lanyard around the the battery cover screw before tightening it up. Luckily this screw is located at the top and centre of the fob so the fob still hangs straight from the lanyard. You have to loosen this screw anyway to remove the battery tab before use. The unit redeems itself by coming with a handy small screwdriver and also with double-sided sticky tabs for mounting on a flat surface.
I have only just started using this alarm so I have no idea how long the batteries will last. I find that in battery-powered wireless door bells the batteries in the receiver usually last about a year. They always run down quicker than those in the transmitter as the receiver is always on to ‘listen’ for a signal. Another reason to swap the cheap batteries for good ones.
You could describe it as a glorified doorbell but I don’t know how well a cheaper doorbell would work through a brick wall to another house. It was quick and easy to set up and does everything I need it to. I am very pleased with it and despite the slight problem attaching the lanyard to the fobs I am happy to give this alarm five stars.

We bought this to replace another (discontinued) brand that we had had for five years with few problems. This one was fairly easy to set up, and the range is okay (upstairs/downstairs), but I have discovered one annoying problem. I carry the receiver around the house with me, and it is very easy when picking it up to accidentally press the sound selection buttons so that the so-called tune changes and you then have to pair the two devices again. There are only one or two sounds that are halfway acceptable, so it takes a while to get back to one of them. Who on earth wants to hear accordians? (Or worse.)

Only down side is it took 3 of us to work out how change the tune; which there are lots

I got these wireless pagers/call buttons for my father who recently had a stroke. His mobility is severely compromised & needs 24-hr care/help. The cordless phone’s intercom key was too small & difficult using his mobile. The wireless pagers & call buttons are the perfect answer. The set came with 2 Ringers & 3 Call Buttons. A set of self-adhesive pads to fit/mount the Call Button on a wall/shelf or table, lanyards to hang them around your neck & also batteries are supplied. A very thoughtful & convenient consideration. The product is basically a portable doorbell. A push button & a ringer! However, it’s design with consideration made for the end user. The Call Button is a round white plastic disc, 65mm diameter & 25mm thick, with a large bright 28mm green call button in the middle. The size & bright colour makes it easily to see & press easily. The ringer is 85mm square & 20mm thick, with a couple of blue LED’s on the front panel that flash when its ringing. The ringer is reasonably loud with 5 adjustable volume levels, a selection of ringtones can be selected but they’re all a bit ‘naff’, the default ‘Ding Dong’ tone is welcoming & effective. The Ringers can be wall mounted with screws or with the double sided adhesive pads, however being portable there’s no belt clip or lanyard option, if you wanted to take it to another room. We have a ringer in the hallway & the other on the landing. You can hear the ‘Ding Dong’ anywhere in the house, it also works at the bottom of the garden. All three buttons can work & both ringers sound at the same time. An excellent product & easy to use so 5-stars! My negative comments are the instructions supplied had the tiniest print possible, impossible to read but didn’t matter as there’s not setting up needed. Fit the supplied AAA batteries in the ringers & pull the plastic safely tabs off the buttons & that’s it. I did have an issue because only one ringer was working! Perhaps the second ringer needed pairing? Checked fitted batteries correctly, it turns out to be the rubbish batteries. I’ve fitted new ‘branded’ batteries in both ringers & everything is working perfectly. I think its a bit over priced, but if lasts 2 years minimum, I would be satisfied. Overall I like think it’s an excellent product. It’s simple and easy to use is a vital element. Theres no settings, configurations, wifi network connections, voice controls necessary. Simply press one button that’s all. Very Good!

I bought this to try to reduce the risks for my husband with Advanced Parkinsonโs, enabling him to alert me when in need of assistance. It works well. He wears one alert as a pendant round his neck, and the other is placed on a wall by the toilet. Each has a different tune, so I know where he is. Easy to set up, and the range is good. It works even when I am in the garden. A good product.
