I have 4 of these lights which I have fitted in hallways and toilets and also take on holiday with me. The batteries last a long time and you can just stand them on a window sill or any flat surface. Very good value for the money.

I needed these for night-time navigation where I don’t want to cause any disturbance using the bright mains lights. The ones on stairs are positioned low, those in passageways or targeting locks higher. In both cases the illumination provided is what I personally wanted – bright enough but relatively soft, not harsh, nevertheless providing very adequate illumination over a quite broad swath.
The lights don’t come on in daylight when they’re not needed, which saves both irritation and battery life.
Mine are hung on screws, so I can’t comment on the adhesive magnet issues that some buyers have had.
Having invested in several pairs now I can only hope that they last – don’t see why not as the overall quality is good. The fact that a decent quality and comprehensive instruction booklet is included suggests that care has been taken in the production of the lights themselves.

I was very impressed when the light arrived, I live in an old house and needed it for the top of the stair were there is a strange configuration and I worry about guests falling in the night, as there is no plug socket nearby this was a great solution. I mounted the light and the sensor worked for two days then would only work if it was on constant, I tried the other light but the sensor didn’t work at all. I am very disapointed as the light seems well made and looks very neat
