A C HUGHES –
Bought this recently to monitor my Blood Pressure.
I’m nearly 64 years old and after visiting the local pharmacy for a Blood Pressure check, i was told mine was slightly high!
I then borrowed a monitor form my surgery, to carry out a check over 7 days.
You would probbly spend more money on a Takeaway meal!
Very easy to use and records the readings taken.
Well worth the money!

This is a great BP monitor, it’s the second one I have bought, not because the first one failed or anything, I wanted another one for my wife to use downstairs. She keeps taking mine that I use upstairs. It’s an easy to use machine out of the box, easy to read, I have found it to be accurate and it records your results and will give you an average. It can be used to record two separate peoples results if need be. Its good value for money in my opinion.

I had to purchase one of these under the instruction of my doctor.
I had a mild stroke (TIA) last month and had to monitor my blood pressure regularly.
I had a look around online and found this one to have good reviews, so decided to make the purchase.
It came with 4 AA batteries so can be used anywhere, which is ideal for me.
I opted for the large cuff version which has and arm cuff to fit around a 22cm to 42cm arm.
it was an ideal size and there was plenty of extra length if needed.
It was so easy to set up, insert batteries, turn on and start to set the time and date,
The instructions that came with the unit were easy to follow and easy to read.
Once set up, you insert the blue connector from the arm cuff into the main unit. You really cannot go wrong since they are colour coded.
Once connected, and positioned the arm cuff, simply press the start button.
While it takes your blood pressure, it also takes your pulse reading too, both of which can be seen as your measurements are taken.
Once done, it displays your reading on the big clear screen and then saves this data so you can go back and check any time or date you like.
This feature is ideal because you can take the unit with you to the doctors so they can verify your readings.
With the unit being CE medically certified, you can be sure the readings you get are going to be accurate!
It can even store 2 people readings, which is good if you have partner that also needs their blood pressure read.
I am not sure how long the batteries will last, but this will depend on how often you check your blood pressure.
Overall I am very happy to know this unit works well and at the price of £24 when I bought it, you simple cannot go wrong.

very acurate, very easy to use, small and work quite long on one battery set. Highly recomend

It’s hard to measure the accuracy of the machine as of course you have nothing to measure it against but it’s a very sturdy build and is very easy and convenient to use

This is an easy to use device that does exactly what it says it will. I use it to do monthly monitoring charts for the GP. It is reliable and accurate and a reasonable price – not the cheapest available but you get what you pay for. Would recommend.

This is a simple to use blood pressure monitor which appears to be accurate (based on my readings compared to one taken by a nurse at the surgery).
The display is clear and easy to read.
I’d recommend it.

Bought this (very reasonable price) as was struggling to get a loaned one through GP surgery. Glad we now own one as whole family can benefit from its use, whenever necessary. Easy to use and seems as good as ones which GP has previously supplied. Highly recommend.
