Wilde’s Cabbage –
As a child, I was a bit of a tomboy. Not a huge follower of the trends for makeup, fashion, even play things. I preferred to define my own path.
As an adult, I have kind of followed that ethos through my life and never believe the hype in products, particularly makeup and beauty. Naturally, I don’t need makeup as I follow a healthy lifestyle and drink mostly water – starting my day with two tall glasses of warm lemon water. But that isn’t to say I don’t use any makeup. I do. Just a little.
I understand that this healthy regime might not be the root that everyone takes and sometime a cure-all-elixir is the hope that people have when striving for a solution.
I confess, the only reason I gave this a go is because I am an ardent supporter of natural products for my skin and thought there would be no harm in trying this – especially with the history of castor oil use in civilisation from 4000BC by the Ancient Egyptians.
I bought this to try to thicken my eyelashes and have now used it, with no luck, for 7 weeks. But, what I did notice from week 2, was that my skin had become clearer, more glowy and I have witnessed a total reduction in the dark circles under my eyes. Nothing else in my beauty routine has changed.
So, the only reason I continued applying this once a day at nighttime was because I noticed an unexpected “side effect” of the glowy, dewy skin with a huge improvement around my eye area.
But today, I notice that the itchiness I’ve had by the outer side of my eyelids for the last couple of weeks was actually new lash growth.
The persistence paid off and im really quite surprised to see some fine lashes appearing and together thickening my lash line. Hopefully this is the initial signs of thicker lashes. I certainly notice it!
The change to skin health is more reason than any, for this amazing elixir to be a regular contender in my beauty regime.
Update:
It’s been nearly three months of daily night time use. As another side effect, I’ve now noticed that even my beauty spots and freckles on my face have become lighter. Very noticeably so. I didn’t know this could be done! An absolutely marvellous product!

Smell is not my favorite one it’s a bit sticky but I don’t mind you really get the value for your money bottle don’t leak it’s very good cap to disperse the oil and it’s really works wonders for your skin eyelashes brows.

Great quality, I would only search for a glass bottle next time to avoid micro-plastics in your product.

This is a high quality oil. If you haven’t tried castor oil, it’s life changing for your skin. This is a viscous oil. It takes a little while to absorb into your skin. It can be mixed in your hand with your favorite lotion.
My first purchase was a small bottle (different brand) and not near the value of this bottle! The squeeze applicator makes it easier to use than the dropper.
I have sensitive skin and my skin loves this oil.
I highly recommend.

Tenia reserva en pedirlo o no; pero el embaleje fue sorprendente. El producto es soberbio se absorbe muy bien no deja sensacion grasosa y es bastante por lo que durará todo el año.

I have never ever had such a bad castor oil in my life this one smelled sooo incredibly bad, I could not even put it on my skin it smells like feces, like it’s rancid, very rancid I was so disappointed I had I had to return it straight away but I bought it for another country. I will never buy from this Company again and I should have read the reviews beforehand

My hair was bleached blonde. During lock down I box dyed it back to my natural colour which is dark brown, it took quite a few goes to cover the blonde. I recently decided to go blonde again and it’s destroyed. It was originally all one length now I have a lot of layers that I didn’t ask for. It was dry and brittle and frizzy. I’ve used every olaplex product known to mankind.
Any way, the bottle says apply the castor oil on dry hair but it’s too thick and sticky to spread it. So I got in the bath and wet my hair because every other hair mask I’ve used says to apply to wet hair. I then sectioned it and smothered each section, including the root. It was a really messy process so I’m glad I was in the bath when I done it. I think blew over it with the hair dryer hoping the heat would melt the oil into my hair.
I put it in a plait and put a pillow case over my head to sleep in it. It was an uncomfortable night and I felt greasy all night. My pillow case will need washing today.
This morning I washed it out. Shampood it twice as I’ve probably used a good half of bottle because I smothered it so much. When I dried it I was pleasantly surprised. It’s soft and shiny and as other have said, it swings again. Once washed it wasn’t greasy at all. There’s volume in it and it’s not frizzy and dry any more. I need my roots doing because I’ve left it a while between bleaching again to give it a break so I have a couple of inches of dark root. My roots are unbelievably shiny.
I can’t say much for breakage or growth at this point because I’ve only used it once.
I also smothered my lashes and face in it because I’ve heard it’s great for skin and I’m having a break from lash extensions because mt lashes are snapped. Can’t say much for lash growth at this point but I’ve washed my face this morning and the all feels really smooth and moisturised.
I will continue with using it and will hopefully see even more results but after using it once im really pleased. I probably used a lot more than I should have but I wanted to make sure there was no strand left out.
