I have several loved ones with diabetes, so I am always on the lookout for new recipe ideas. The beginning of this book talks a little bit about diabetes and what it means for your life. This includes an analysis of how your eating habits should change. Then we get into the recipes. They cover the range of meal types and main proteins. I did appreciate the chapter devoted to drinks. We are trying to move away from sugary drinks but get bored with just water, so having this big section to turn to has been awesome. We have tried the different lemonades and teas given. There is a 30 day meal plan with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack for every day.
