The card is excellent. The main downside is that an extra card cannot be provided for my wife. I was told that this is because the card is linked to my Amazon account for reward purposes. That begs the question why can any rewards accumulated by my wife cannot go to my Amazon account? We jointly pay for the expenditure on the card so why not share the rewards?

So far, so good. Have not had any problems with the card, bar no obvious information about receipt of the PIN that I could find. Once it arrived (unannounced as far as I could see), all was well. Tried to pay a bill in a garden equipment suppliers & the card was declined…my fault for not using Chip + PIN for the first use!
Impressively, the refusal prompted a potential fraud warning as Barclays Bank sent text messages plus a phone call to request verification that the transaction was indeed being attempted by me. Rather reassuring to know that everything is being monitored closely.

The app for me isn’t great, I’ve had to deregister and reregister a few times and still unable to update any of my personal details, I have to keep ringing Amazon Barclaycard which for me is very time consuming. I’ve just moved house so having the interest free period has been a godsend, and earning points on Amazon purchases is a bonus. I would recommend the credit card.

Communications didn’t clearly explain paying off balance by DD or other means, so incurred a late payment fee; nor was it clear why not possible to register or login via the PC (all via the app). Luckily after discussion with customer services, the fee was refunded and the account explained. Good to get Amazon rewards, UX could have been better.

Overehelmed that i can use a credit card again for amazon thanks to barclays, easy to use and automatically adds to the amazon account when you activate the card thanks amazon

The card functions well, as you would expect.
No problem contactless paying, after putting in the pin for the first transaction, which is normal.
Only gripe was the hoops you have to jump through to actually get the Barclays app on your phone and create an account. It was a bit catch 22 in some parts.
The speed of delivery of the card was slow, about a week, and the pin didn’t arrive until the following week!
