I bought this book for my father. For him, the long-awaited retirement is turning into a critical and difficult time to face because he is already worrying about how he will deal with his free time. I found it interesting and he too was excited about the many possibilities he will have to use his days positively, he realised that retirement opens new doors and gives him the chance to take on many new challenges ranging from entertainment to his nearest and dearest. This book has had a positive effect on him and I am glad about that.

A hilarious e-book proposing 150 activities to do when retiring. A life spent working, meeting deadlines and responsibilities of all kinds, leads many people to dream of retirement but, dreaming is not experiencing first-hand what is then the psychological state into which one is catapulted when actually retired. In fact, I know several people who go into depression and do not know what to do with their free time! Here books like this come to the rescue. It is basically a guide to learning how to manage your free time. The activities are many and range from yoga classes to degree courses. Not only are the activities proposed, but it is explained how to do it, that is, how to get into the right frame of mind to fully enjoy the golden years of retirement. I could call it a vademecum for reinventing one’s life. Retirement does not mean old or incapacitated, but I am full of strength and desire to start a new and exciting chapter in my life! I got the e-book format as I am passing it on to my dad but the paper version can make a beautiful and certainly, much appreciated gift. So many new and unique experiences, created with originality and described with nice irony. The cover is already funny in itself. Excellent content to live the years of much-needed freedom with renewed energy!

We gave this book as a gift to my father-in-law who recently retired. He is a vital, energetic guy and used to say every day that he was bored, that it was better to keep working, etc. We gave him this book as a gift and he was super pleased! In this book basically, there are so many ideas of things you can do right after retirement. Each day gives a different “task,” and on top of all that, it is also good for taking other ideas and coming up with something to do day after day so that you don’t even have time to get bored. My father-in-law is delighted with it! Super valuable and highly recommended!

Very interesting and useful ebook. Retirement, this longed-for moment in life, can also hide a difficult moment…where, from 1000 commitments, one passes to having the day totally free, and this can cause a feeling of…uselessness, which must not absolutely be there. Therefore with this manual, here are ideas and suggestions, to live a full sprint retirement period 😀

I got it for my father who is close to retirement and I found myself leafing through it.
Here, after a lifetime of work (and maybe an unrewarding job) you’ve reached the fateful retirement (lucky you!). And now? What will you do? How will you spend your free time?
Here you will find suggestions of things to do. They are all interesting things, but many more can be done and/or seen.
One thing the author of this nice ebook definitely agrees with is that whatever you retiree decides to do, do it! The most important thing is not to waste so much free time doing nothing or, even worse, “thrown” on a sofa in front of the television!
