It was very easy to put together-no tools needed. It fits around all 3 of our toilets. It can be used with armless chairs as well as toilets. I have found this a very helpful item. I purchased it prior to total knee replacement surgery. Besides helping get up and down easier, it lends security when you have the wobbles. If you’re dizzy, you can lean your head down while holding on to a softly padded handle. I am 72 and will store this item after I no longer need it. It might be needed in the future or loaned out to a
friend. Highly recommended.

I have tried one other of these that fited the bowl inside the toilet basin from nhs suport but it was to high, when I saw this free standing one I ordered it , it is suitable for me as I am only 5ft tall and quite comfortable. Just one thing to be aware of is the front of the base frame it sticks out for stability, one can catch a foot on it to get off if turning to quickly, But all in all I find it excellent for stability and cleaning .
