I got this mainly as a way to benefit nail growth, I had recently broken half of my fingernail to the point it was only the nail bed left, it was so bad and I was worried about regrowth. Knowing that our bodies stop making collagen in our 20s, which I’m in my 20s, I figured I should be taking it every day anyway. I’ve used the entire container and I’ve noticed my hair is growing faster and looks better, my skin is clearer and looks great, and my nails are growing quicker and getting thicker. My broken nail is completely normal, as if nothing ever happened. My nails are still a little thin but that due to having acrylics for over a year, they’re getting thick rather quick though! I love this product. It has no taste, I use it in tea and coffee. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to mix in if your coffee has foam, but a good stir solves it. I use it 2x a day, one heaping teaspoon in the morning and one heaping teaspoon at night.

I’m a big fan of collagen supplements, and whilst you get a decent whack of collagen per serving, it is significantly more expensive than the marine variant. Not only that but the marine powder dissolves better. Also avoid adding it to drinks with ice already in them, as the powder clumps and then is nigh on impossible to blend in. Will use it as it’s a good quality product, but might use a blender to make sure it is undetectable in my drink/food.

I’ve been using this product for a couple of years. It definitely helps my nails, which are quite weak. I take a scoop every morning in my coffee. It’s tasteless and dissolves well in hot liquid.

I first purchased this about 3 months ago and confess to being dubious and sceptical about the claims it made. Now on my 3rd batch, my nails do seem to be less soft and prone to splitting and I don’t seem to be losing as much hair when I wash it as before. My sceptical nature means I’m not 100% convinced yet so, although I’m still a bit ‘on the fence’, I am definitely leaning towards ‘showing visible signs of improvement’. I’ll see how the next few months go and may update this accordingly. I’d certainly be inclined to give it a try though if you’re considering it.

I am now in my second year of using this collagen powder almost daily. It does take about 8 months to start seeing results, I did my research.
You can’t deny genetics and it won’t help beat that but helps a lot, I have been using it for my hair and I shed less, a lot of new baby hairs, stronger hair, my skin complexion is fairly better, nothing improved with my nails but hey ho, you can’t have it all
