Used this as an alarm system if I needed help during the day or night , brill product, the lights flash on plug in and loads of tune to choose , brought a peace of mine to me knowing when I can’t physically get help I’ve got these buttons to push , cannot recommend enough

This is a fantastic little alarm and would be useful in any home situation where someone needs to call for assistance. It’s super easy to set up right out of the box, the call button and receiver are already paired so there’s no faffing about trying to get devices to find each other etc, you simply plug in the receiver, set your alarm tone and desired volume using the buttons on the side and that’s it you’re up and running. There are tons of different tunes to choose from, some quite energetic, even a happy birthday one and a Christmas song, there are also some more gentle ones if that is your preference, my video shows just a few of them. The unit flashes all different colours when the alarm is going off and you can set it to have no sound and just the lights if you wish. The call button can be attached to a wall or other surface with the sticky pad or screws and screwdriver provided or can be worn on the lanyard that’s also provided. Everything in this kit is really good quality and feels well made. This is a great option for anyone looking for a simple straightforward in home alarm.

Unless I am misunderstanding the directions, this alarm will only work if there is someone else in the house to respond to the call. If you are looking to purchase a personal alarm for an elderly person, it needs to send an alert to a family member’s pager or phone, no matter where they are…

This pager is simplicity itself to use. It arrived with the paging button already paired to the base unit and once plugged in it was just a matter of choosing one of four volume levels and the chime or melody from the nineteen on offer.I liked that the call button has a small blue light that illuminates when it is pressed to confirm that a signal has been sent to the base unit which responded instantly with sound and a multi coloured light disply that continues for a few seconds after the sound has stopped.The pager with it’s large red call button can be fixed to any smooth surface next to the bed or with it’s splashproof qualities in a bathroom using the screws and wallplugs or for a less permanent fixing a self adhesive pad is also supplied.Alternatively a clip on lanyard is provided for wear around the neck as a pendant so it can kept on the person and used anywhere around the home.I tested the call button everywhere both upstairs and downstairs in my house and at the bottom of the garden and it worked perfectly.When it comes to changing the call buttons battery (a CR 2032 button type) thoughtfully a small screwdriver is provided to access it.I would say this is a quality pager at a low price, perfect for use if you are elderly or bedbound to attract attention and gain assistance and I would recommend it.

This wireless door bell has been modified to be a care giver alarm. It does have a good range out of the box but the receiver could be louder. The receiver plugs into a mains socket so there is no reason why it couldn’t be made louder. It also emulates the many door bells with stupid melodies that do not grab your attention and so most of them blend into the noise around you. There is the traditional ‘ding dong’ which is something that may alert you but it needs sirens, alarms, beeps not silly melodic chimes.
The unit does have a face that lights up in varying colours whilst it is making noise – so in a darkened room you should at least be alerted by flashing lights.
A useful device at a reasonable price but possibly best suited to personal domestic situations and not really suited to busy environments where the device may go unheard.
