This rail works great for my husband. His legs are very weak and uses his arms to push up out of a sitting
position. The back rail tucks between the seat and the back and he can then push hard on the handles to boost up. The handles are about 5 inches higher than the chair arms and so are a big help standing up. After seeing how great this worked, we bought another one for the family room couch. We highly recommend this aid if you need help standing up.

I didn’t want to have to buy this for my parent but it actually was the best decision I made to purchase. A surprise gift that they use every day now. They moved from an uncomfortable chair back to their favorite couch spot. Easy in, easy out! And the couch they have is reclining. This works great. No complaints.

Easy to assemble, fit in place. Does exactly what it was needed for and doesn’t look to obtrusive.
This is nothing to do with the product but after a few days just check nothing has come loose. Given the purpose you don’t want this collapsing on someone.

Loved this. I bought it for a relative whose degenerative health conditions means he now struggles to stand up from the sofa. Easy to put together, cheap, looks neat, natural and dignified when in place, is safe, and most important – it works! It has given back my relative independence in sitting downing and standing up, and an extra lease of life to the sofa – expensive and complicated to replace. It has bought us time, assisted in quality of life and dignity to a fiercely independent person. Sometimes it is the small things in life….heartily recommend and my gratitude and thanks to the makers / sellers.
