Cette chambre de diffusion pour les sprays est bien adaptée pour les petits bouts, sa forme compacte permet un usage sans avoir besoin d’être 2 à le faire, même si c’est toujours plus pratique à 2 parents que devoir le faire tout seul… Le fait de pouvoir la nettoyer facilement est un plus par contre un écouvillon adapté aurait pu justement être fourni aussi afin d’en avoir un dédié à cet usage!

This is a good product if your child needs to take inhalers and you find the large ones provided by healthcare are really big and bulky especially when out and about . This chamber device is small compact but allows the medicine to be taken Effectively through the mouthpiece by breathing in . The silicon feel mouth piece is soft and comfortable around my child’s mouth. This can be washed and reused. They do advise to replace after a year . Highly recommend if you have a child that needs to take inhalers regularly. Only negative I can say is the price .

Mon fils nous a déjà fait une crise de bronches malheureusement. Et nous sommes retournés à la maison avec une prescription d’une chambre d’air traditionnel qui est assez mastoc et n’est pas très facile à stériliser.
Ce modèle est vraiment mieux, beaucoup plus simple de utilisation et notre bonhomme peut le faire même tout seule comme il aime tout faire!

My son has asthma but being autistic and has SEN needs, it’s really difficult for him to use an inhaler as he doesn’t like anything touching his face/body. We are currently using a spacer to be used with the inhaler that’s prescribed by the GP, but the spacer’s silicone mask is not very soft. It’s often will leave a mark on his mouth area after we use the spacer.
I have used this spacer on him, and I’m glad to say that it’s less a struggle as its silicone mask is very soft, he might not really feel it touching his skin. The body of the spacer is smaller and shorter than the one we have, hence easier to hold and grip, therefore make the whole process shorter and easier. The compact size of this spacer makes it portable and convenient to take when out and about.
I also like that this spacer has a signal whistle at the backpiece that will make a sound when breathing is very fast which indicates that the drug delivery is not effective.
As this is meant for a small kid, the imprinted bunny on its body makes it looks more fun.
Dont forget to wash it first before use. But make sure not to rub the parts of the chamber with a harsh sponge, as well as rub drying.
Everything is fine with this spacer except maybe for the price. It might be quite pricey for some. But I have found this useful for my son, therefore I would highly recommend it. I have added a picture showing the size comparison between the two spacers – one from the NHS and this spacer.

Si tienes pequeños en casa sabrás que es muy habitual que tengan que tomar alguna vez aerosoles, especialmente si son alérgicos a algo o cogen bronquitis, etc., algo muy común al principio.
Como son pequeños, tienen que tomar inhaladores pero no saben, así que tienes que usar con ellos cámaras de este tipo. Las hay de varios precios, desde la que venden en la farmacia que es de plástico transparente (que da el apaño) hasta estas más avanzadas que tienen determinadas características que las hacen preferibles.
Concretamente, esta nada más sacarla de la caja notas su calidad: plástico de alta calidad, y zonas de boquilla y trasera de silicona muy suave. Además tiene un tapón para colocar el inhalador y que no le entre polvo ni nada, muy bien pensado, se queda colgando y así no se pierde, siempre están las dos cosas juntas.
En cuanto a la tecnología que incorpora, está pensada para que se absorba en los pulmones la mayor parte, y quede lo menos posible en la boca (recuerda que deben beber agua tras la aplicación, pues estos productos pican los dientes si no se enjuaga), y para ver el interior, además hace un sonido su parte trasera cuando no están haciendo bien las respiraciones.
Ofrecen tres tipos: para bebés (0-18 meses), pequeños (1-6 años) y mayores (6 años), aunque debo reconocer que mi pequeño con 2 años usa la de bebés y mi hija de 6 años se ha empeñado (celos supongo) en usarlo también y le sirve, aunque el de su edad sería más aconsejable.
El precio 25€, ronda lo normal en estos productos ya que son de mayor calidad a los básicos, y más efectivos.
